Nice ship Outstanding crew

June

Pros: Crew, I can't say enough about how amazing the crew was

Cons: No good shows

Recommended: Yes

Overall I would sail on Quantum again. But there were definitely some "misses" for me. First, there were no good shows. I know it's an older ship so I wasn't expecting a Broadway production, but the shows were just, bad. There was no open central promenade area. On other ships there is a central area with the stairway that is open for many decks so you can look all the way up or down, this ship doesn't have that an that was disappointing. There was only 1 ice cream station on the entire ship and the hours were very limited. The shop was even smaller and carried less selection than even older ships. Although the cruise compass was loaded with listings of things to do, there never really seemed like there were things to do, if that makes any sense at all. I'm just not really a fan of this ship. The crew however was amazing and made the trip outstanding and memorable. The rooms were in good shape and everything was in working order. The showers have glass doors as opposed to curtains so that is a plus. The food selection was good and the food itself was good. The pools never seemed over crowed (although it was an Alaska cruise) even the indoor one. Again, not a ship I really cared for. However, it wouldn't keep me from sailing her again if it were the itinerary I wanted.

Quantum Alaska June 23, 2925 sailing

June

Pros: Crew members, wildlife sightings from ship

Cons: iFly and Flowrider are broken for an extended period of time

Recommended: Yes

The ship is in fantastic shape, the crew were phenomenal, and plenty of eagles, otters, and humpback whales to view from the ships outer decks while in port and sailing! Just as an FYI, our sailing did not visit Dawes glacier due to dense fog and too many icebergs. I’d rate activities 5 star if iFly and Flowrider were operational (I spend many hours a day at those two venues)

Alaska Voyage on Quantum of the Seas

June

Pros: Well organized, easy checkin and departures, great food, service, and fun!

Cons:

Recommended: Yes

Very enjoyable cruise. All the locations visited during our cruise had terrific historic and natural sights of Alaska. We road historic gold rush trains. There are many excursions to choice from such as whale watching, a salmon bake, helicopter rides to glaciers. Great dinners at night with the best service staff there to provide for all your request and needs. We Highly recommend the Quantum of the Seas!!

Quantum of the Seas

May

Pros: Solarium was fantastic, covered pools/hot tubs were perfect for Alaska, great warm boat & heated pools

Cons: Poor wine selections in the wine bar for deluxe package holders, too much space wasted on certain areas that did not appear to be used or functioning(robot bar, certain specialty dining), piano bar needed a cozier location, no large kick off party, entertainment shows did not appear as top notch as other ships, ripcord not functioning

Recommended: Yes

Nabilla and Linges were fabulous servers in the dining room!! Table 415 5:00 seating on our cruise
